In celebration, IBT presented a six part program that exhibited their skillful dedication and the versatility within the art of ballet.

The night kicked off with "Pillow Party," which was a return to the lighthearted ballet set to the music of Doris Day from their first show in 2003. Next, Allynne Noelle and Alex Castillo, special guests from the Los Angeles Ballet, made their first appearance of the night in a classic performance of "Tchaikovsky Pas De Duex". Alongside, IBT premiered "Mad Rush," which was a very heartfelt depiction of a ballet performer losing her dance.

After the intermission, a quartet of dancers a performed a hopefully rendition of "Out Of The Ashes," which debuted at the 2013 Rocky Mountain Choreography Festival. Afterwards, Noelle and Castillo mesmerized the audience in their second appearance with "Seasons," a selection from Raymond Van Mason's ballet Fall Pas De Deux. Which was originally performed by Ballet West in 1991. IBT's finale premiered "We All Breathe," a new work choreographed by Van Mason and set to music composed by Michael Jarre.

This new work spoke to me personally. I was impressed with the expressive fusion between traditional and contemporary ballet. This performance actualized the array of human emotion and experience into a beautiful evening of expression through dance. Needless to say, Imagine Theatre Ballet put on a show to remember and I hope to see many more in the coming years.
